LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is proud to announce that the Oregon FFA Association has selected its Agriculture Entrepreneurship Program to receive the esteemed FFA Distinguished Service Award. This recognition is awarded to organizations that have made significant contributions to the agriculture sector and supported the growth and prosperity of FFA.
The award was formally presented during the State FFA Convention at the Deschutes Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. The EOU Ag Entrepreneurship Program accepted the award on March 23.
“For me, this highlights the importance of all the folks from EOU who have helped make the Ag Entrepreneurship Program a resource for our eastern Oregon high school partners,” Dr. Mueller said.
The EOU Ag Entrepreneurship Program, part of the College of Business, has fostered innovation and leadership in agricultural business. This program supports the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs. To learn more about the program, visit eou.edu/agrient
