EOU Navigators Club presents: 33rd Annual Island Magic Lu’au & Show, Saturday, May 18, 2024

LA GRANDE, Ore. – After a brief hiatus, the Navigators Club at Eastern Oregon University is thrilled to announce the return of the 33rd Island Magic Lu’au and Show.

The Lu’au will be held on May 18, 2024, with a dinner beginning at 5 p.m. at Hoke Union Building followed by the show starting at 7 p.m. at McKenzie Theatre.

The Navigators Club at Eastern Oregon University is dedicated to fostering cultural awareness and unity among students and the community through events and activities that celebrate the diverse cultures of the Pacific Islands.

The show will highlight Pacific Island cultures with traditional and contemporary performances, complemented by a dinner featuring dishes from various Pacific Islands.

Join us as we celebrate the diversity, unity, and beauty of cultural exchange here at EOU, as well as celebrate the opportunity to bring our communities together, embrace different traditions, and create lasting memories as we close the school year.

This annual tradition has been celebrated for more than 32 years here at EOU with cultural festivities and live entertainment shared and enjoyed with the LaGrande community.

Tickets are available for $10 for EOU students, veterans, seniors, and children under 12, and $20 for the general public at the EOU Multicultural Center, JaxDog Cafe & Books, Art Center East, and Real Deals.
