Check your EOU email

E-mail is our main way of communicating with you about deadlines, once you’re admitted!

❏ Check the email address used when applying to EOU for a message from IT regarding your Mountie Pass username and password which is used to sign into the my.EOU Portal.
❏ Go to the my.EOU Portal and search for the “EOU Gmail (Google Mail)” card for directions on how to access your email.

The my.EOU portal is where you:

❏ Accept financial aid awards with the “Financial Aid Self Service Menu” card.
❏ Apply for student housing on campus with the “EOU Housing Portal” card.
❏ Register for classes with the “College Scheduler – Students” card.
❏ Pay your bill with the “Payment Portal” card.

Canvas is where you:
❏ View your currently enrolled courses.
❏ Take quizzes and tests.
❏ View your upcoming assignments and more!

Other services that are available in the my.EOU student portal includes:
❏ Track the route to your degree with the “DegreeWorks” card.
❏ Schedule appointments with your advisor with the “Appointments” card.
❏ Check your class schedule with the “My Class Schedule” card.Log into the my.EOU portal and get started!

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

❏ Apply for federal financial aid at studentaid.gov.

  • Use EOU’s school code 003193.
  • Applications open December 1.

❏ Apply for EOU scholarships.

  • Most applications are available from November 1 through March 1.
  • Transfer scholarship deadlines are year-round. Click here for details about transfer student scholarships.
  • Are you a veteran, on active duty or a member of a military family? Check-out our scholarships for you or your family members.

❏ Submit to the Student Health Center.

On-campus housing and dining is available to all EOU students!  All first-year freshman are required to live in the residence halls.

❏ Register for housing through the My EOU Portal.

  • Go to the My EOU Portal.
  • Select Mountie Hub button to login to your account.
  • Select the Student Services.
  • Select Residence Life link.
  • Follow the instructions and click MyHousing to complete your application.
  • Submit your $250 housing deposit to reserve your spot.

❏ Official final high school transcript with graduation date.

❏ Request and send college transcript(s) including dual credit earned while in high school.  Quick tip: If you attended a credit-granting Early College Initiatives program through EOU, we already have your transcript!

Note:

  • Students with less than 72 quarter/60 semester transferable college credits must submit their high school transcript.
  • Students must submit an official transcript from each accredited college that has awarded credit

❏ Log back into the admissions application to view your checklist for any missing documentation.

Register for Mountaineer Day

❏ Check your email in late spring for information about registering for a Mountaineer Day.

  • Mountaineer Days are offered 4 times a year starting in late spring through the summer.
  • You will meet with your advisor to register for classes and much more!

Get your student ID

Student ID cards are used for access to various locations including the dining halls, residence halls, EOU Fitness Center as well as events and activities sponsored by the university.

❏ Log in to the My.EOU student portal and get your student ID Card with the “ID Card” card.

You will have received an email introducing your academic advisor. Please refer to this email for information on how to contact your advisor and prep for your first meeting.

❏ You will be notified of your advisor assignment shortly after your admit decision via the
email you used to apply with.

❏ You may also find your advisor assignment and send messages via Navigate.

❏ Your assignment is also accessible via Mountie Hub from the student portal by selecting Student Services > Student Information.
