Permanent Collection

The Nightingale Gallery oversees the campus permanent collection of modern and contemporary art by such practitioners as EOU alumnus George Nightingale, Ruth Russel, Jasper Johns, and Alexander Calder. EOU is also home to an outstanding collection of works by regional artists assembled by the Oregon Arts Commission through the Percent for Art in Public Places Program. This collection includes paintings, sculpture and photography by Christine Clark, Armin Mühsam, Patrick Kelly, Lawrence Shlim, Kathleen Cassidy, Paul Bennett and many others.
