Sponsored by the Eastern Oregon Workforce Board, the Career Expo takes place on the first Wednesday in April on the EOU Campus in La Grande


This regionally focused event provides a venue for local and regional employers to gain access to students and community members seeking employment opportunities including part-time, seasonal, internships, and career positions.

Job Fair

Job Search Clinics

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: Across the EOU Campus

A variety of job-search topics delivered in a round-table discussion format focusing on networking, interview prep, hiring process trends, and more.

Event Information & Amenities

Parking Passes:

  • Parking passes will not be required during the expo, If you plan to be on campus before or after the expo, please make plans to purchase a parking pass. Parking is available in spaces marked visitor or in general parking.  Please do not park in any space marked “reserved” or ADA-restricted without the proper pass.
  • There is unrestricted free parking in the Community Stadium Lot (football field lot).
  • Passes are available from the Student Financial Services office (Inlow 101) or from the parking kiosk in front of Loso Hall.  The kiosk currently accepts cash only.

Navigating Campus:

  • Reference the EOU campus map for the event’s main hub, the EOU Field House and other buildings for workshop locations..
  • Look for “EOU Event” signage around campus.

Dining:

  • Complimentary tea, water, and coffee will be available.
  • The Mountie Cafe and Mac’s Grill are both located in the Hoke Student Union building, offering meals, snacks and drinks for purchase.
