Develop the Skills Employers Want

The National Association of Colleges and Employers outlines eight competencies for which employers are seeking in recent college graduates. For new college graduates, career readiness is key to ensuring successful entrance into the workforce.

“Grads with Resumes”

A signature Career Services campaign, our goal is for every EOU graduate to have an updated, professional resume upon graduation. If you have completed at least 135 credits, now is the time to develop your job-search materials.

Our Role in Your Career Journey

EOU Career Services believes in thoroughly preparing our graduates for their job-search and career-journey. Our approach to career development includes coaching students through the multiple aspects of job-searching and career preparations: assisting with drafting resumes and cover letters, conducting mock interviews, guiding students through career and self exploration activities, and coaching students on best practices for job search.

Preparing

Career Development begins long before graduation. The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) has outlined 8 skills that employers are seeking in new graduates- start honing your skillset now.

EOU Career Services provides multiple job-search resources for students: resume and cover letter assistance, interview information, and opportunities for career and self exploration.
