Experiential Leaning:As an Early College Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist, you will gain practical experience in data analysis and report generation. You will maintain and ensure the accuracy of pre-developed databases, create customized certificates using Canva, and conduct quality assurance checks on reports and certificates. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge from your coursework to real-world datasets, enhancing your understanding of educational data analysis and program evaluation.
Professional Development:This position offers numerous professional development opportunities. You will receive job-specific training provided by the Early College Initiatives Office and participate in University-wide training events. Additionally, you will have access to multicultural-sponsored training activities, career exploration activities via Career Services, and resume reviews with Career Services and/or WorkSource Oregon. These experiences will help you build professional competencies such as data analysis, report writing, project management, and professional communication, preparing you for diverse career paths.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Maintain pre-developed databases ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
– Create customized certificates using Canva based on predefined templates and requirements.
– Conduct quality assurance checks on reports and certificates ensuring compliance with standards in Banner, Google Office, and Canva.
– Demonstrate commitment to the university’s core values by maintaining a professional demeanor.
Minimum Qualifications:– School year preferences – Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Masters
Preferred Qualifications:– Proficiency in Banner, Google Office Platform, and Excel.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the ECI team.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
