HR Student Worker

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience in a supportive environment. The position is located in the HR office, providing a mix of clerical work, exposure to HR systems, and real-world experience in HR operations. Experiential Learning:Students will learn about HR processes, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations. They will also enhance their technical skills through hands-on use of HR systems like Banner and Laserfiche​
Professional Development:Students will receive HR-specific training, participate in HR projects, and have opportunities for career exploration, including resume review workshops, university-wide training events, and job fairs like the EO Career Expo
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:·  Creating and managing personnel files for new hires
·  Scanning and uploading documents to HR systems
·  Assisting with employee data updates and ensuring data integrity
·  Supporting recruitment processes such as scheduling interviews
·  Assisting with special HR projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:·       Federal Work-Study Required
·       Knowledge of Excel Word Required
Preferred Qualifications:·       Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR, customer service, or office management
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:– Banner knowledge
– Laserfiche experience
– Knowledge of HR procedures
