Experiential Leaning: | Interns will learn to conduct detailed biomechanical research, use sophisticated lab equipment, analyze complex data, and present findings. This internship connects directly to courses in Health and Human Performance, offering invaluable practical experience that complements theoretical knowledge. |
Professional Development: | Interns receive specific training on 3D motion capture systems, force plate analysis, and data processing. Opportunities for professional development include workshops, seminars, and potential conference presentations. |
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions: | – Assist in research design, data collection, and analysis. – Manage and maintain lab equipment. – Collaborate with faculty and students on ongoing research projects. – Develop reports and presentations for academic and community stakeholders. |
Minimum Qualifications: | – Current enrollment as an undergraduate at EOU, majoring in Health and Human Performance. – Good academic standing. – Completion or current enrollment in relevant coursework. |
Preferred Qualifications: | – Previous experience in a research or laboratory setting. – Strong analytical and technical skills. |
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: | – Proficiency with data analysis software. – Excellent communication and organizational skills. |
