UMHS, inc. was established in 198 to operate a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of children and families across 8 counties in Eastern Oregon. For over 35 years, UMHS has provided quality learning opportunities to children, support to families, and supported the overall wellbeing of those we serve. UMHS offers various programs and services such as Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Healthy Families, Head Start, Oregon Pre-Kindergarten, and more! We believe parents are their child’s primary teacher and our greatest partners. Our caring staff play a supportive role in helping families move in the direction they chose for themselves. Our 200+ staff members help bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the agency and those they serve.
