The Event Administrative Support position plays a crucial role in supporting the Events office by handling essential tasks. This position is responsible for preparing and formatting documents, organizing and maintaining digital files in Google Drive, and creating and managing Google Sheets.

Experiential Learning:Students will learn about office systems. This role provides office support by typing manuals, creating documents and Google drive organization.  These skills are transferable to careers in hospitality, operations, and administrative roles.
Professional Development:Students will receive training in scheduling software and Google Suite, preparing them for roles that require organizational and technical skills. The supervisor will provide coaching and guidance to support professional growth throughout the role.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:– Scan and organize documents to maintain digital records.
– Provide general office support, including organizing files and assisting with administrative tasks.
– Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all assigned tasks.
– Maintain and update your own resume during the course of employment, ensuring it is professional and ready for future job applications by the end of the position.
Minimum Qualifications:– Must be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher).
– Must have Federal Work Study eligibility.
– Basic competency with office technology (computers, Google Suite preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:– Entry-level professional competency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

– Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
