The Biology Program offers two options for specialization in biology. After completing a core curriculum, students select from two concentrations, Molecular Biology or Ecology and Organismal Biology. Both tracks offer preparation for continuing professional educational programs in medicine, vet medicine, other health fields, natural resources management or education.
The EOU department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate education in a supportive learning environment. Our programs offer small class sizes and one-on-one interaction with faculty, allowing students to maximize their learning experience.

The cybersecurity degree at EOU offers computer science knowledge in data structures, C++ programming, networking and architecture, preparing students to become a well-prepared IT professional with specialized skills for preventing threats in various security roles.

EOU’s Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling offers a broad foundation in evidence-based, ethical practice for students through courses on theories, techniques, individuals, couples, families, and typical specialty areas such as trauma, addictions, and working with children. All courses are offered online, in a blend of synchronous, asynchronous, and online weekend residency courses. Students finish the Masters degree with a minimum of 700 hours of hands-on experience counseling in community settings, positioning them for success as future CMHCs.
We offer a major in Mathematics designed to graduate students well-prepared for careers in teaching, industry, or advanced study in Mathematics. We also offer three minors – one in Mathematics, one in Statistical Mathematics, and (for Multidisciplinary Studies majors only) a minor in Mathematical Studies.
The degree program in psychology provides specialized study in psychology within the context of the broader goals of a liberal arts education. The psychology program promotes an understanding of behavior, provides an understanding of the foundations of psychology as a scientific discipline, integrates the influence of psychology on contemporary thought, and promotes skills in scientific research.
