About James

James Dyer is an assistant professor of English writing at Eastern Oregon University. He teachers primarily gateway seminar and first-year writing courses. His professional research interests include developmental education, postsecondary literacy, career and technical education, and equity and justice in higher education. He enjoys trail-running, playing in the snow, and bullying his three cats.
