Retirement Plans

Defined Plans- University Contribution

EOU retirement program provides a combination of defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
University contribution are made on a monthly basis.
Employees are eligible for contribution after 6 months of employment.

Voluntary Plans-Employee Only Contribution

Tax-deferred and Roth 403(b) plans.
Deferred compensation program.
Employees are eligible to make contributions immediately upon employment.

Time Off:

The university offers Vacation and Sick Leave to enable employees to take time off with pay. Paid Leave accrual rates depend on the classification of the position.

Staff Tuition Rates:

Eligible employees are provided the opportunity to pursue and education at EOU at reduced tuition rates.

Eligibility requires at least half-time employment.
Staff rates apply to all Oregon public universities.
Benefit may be transferred to one family member each term.
