Gutenberg Buttons

Another element that poses some initial hurdles are buttons. There is not a great way around this. Buttons will need to all become Gutenberg buttons eventually. Once converted to a Gutenberg Block our original style classes are striped from the link.

STEPS:

Step 1: Find the Button Link in the editor blocks

Step 2: Create a new Button Block above or below

Step 3: Paste on Button Label and Link Location

By default, all buttons will render as the default blue EOU button. You can select Gold or Red from the Button Block options to the right. Currently buttons do not render exactly in Gutenberg, but you can adjust settings to your liking. The buttons, as long as they are in a Button Block, will have the styles and options managed by University Advancement Marketing.

Step 4: New Content

From here on out use Gutenberg Button Block for all button links moving forward.
