Marketing Department Mission Statement

Purpose:

The Eastern Oregon University Marketing Department supports university initiatives for recruitment and retention of students, advancement, government relations, and alumni relations. The department does this by building advocacy and awareness for the university through public relations, marketing, communications, brand management and advertising.

Values:

Excellence: As this is the Eastern Oregon University standard, so too, we embrace this value in presenting the university to the public and reflecting the accomplishments of EOU students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Creativity:

To reach our different audiences in meaningful and memorable ways, we strive to provide great original design, photography, video, copywriting, digital strategies, and marketing campaigns with measurable results.

Integrity:

As the primary champion of the EOU’s image and brand, we maintain the highest standards of both accuracy and ethical behavior in presenting EOU to the public.

Collaboration:

Teamwork is at the heart of our efforts. The ability to work together as a team and to partner with university and external clients paves the way for success.
