HOOD RIVER, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is pleased to host the “Bienvenidos a EOU” event, an engaging Spanish-speaking gathering designed to extend a warm welcome to the Hood River community and provide valuable information about EOU. “Bienvenidos a EOU” translates to “Welcome to EOU,” and this event promises to be an informative and enjoyable evening for all attendees.
The event will take place at the Hood River Public Library, located at 502 State St, Hood River, OR 97031, on Nov. 15th, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Families in the Hood River area are encouraged to attend and discover the numerous opportunities and resources available at EOU.
At “Bienvenidos a EOU,” attendees can expect the following informative sessions:
The event is being organized by a dedicated team, including admission counselors, Reina Strand, Berenice Chavez, and Cassandra Sanchez, who are passionate about making higher education accessible to all. EOU student ambassadors who are bilingual will also be present to assist attendees throughout the event.
While this is the first “Bienvenidos a EOU” event in Hood River, the success of past events in Hermiston has prompted the expansion to Hood River, emphasizing EOU’s commitment to reaching diverse communities and fostering a culture of inclusion and accessibility.
EOU is excited to welcome Hood River families to this informative and engaging evening. Join us for “Bienvenidos a EOU” and discover the numerous pathways to success that Eastern Oregon University has to offer.
