Each year the Speel-Ya Native American Student Council chooses and asks a drum to be the Host Drum for the EOU Powwow. The Host Drum receives a stipend and must be present for both days. We do not currently have a drum group competition. The first five drums to register and participate both days of the powwow are guaranteed a stipend. Drum group registration can be done in advance by contacting the phuxoll@eou.edu for when the registration is open.
