General Public

It is important to allow the general public to learn and comment on your project. Set select milestones in the project timeline (draft plan, concept plan, final plan, etc) to hold public meetings. Advertise these meetings widely using a website, social media, newspapers, radio advertisements, and fliers. Hold the meetings in a neutral place to allow for a free and comfortable exchange of ideas. During the meeting, present your work and then accept comments and questions from the public. You can also conduct the meeting in a workshop format where small groups work together on specific topics and then present to the larger group.
