Project Kick-off Meeting – Review scope of work with EOU, Regional Solutions Center, and WURA representatives. OPRD June 18 2014
Trail Assessment Website – Develop public-facing website to provide a schedule of planning process, post assessment reports, provide committee and public meeting agendas and minutes, and to solicit citizen comments regarding the rail with trail concept. EOU June 4 – September 5 2014
Stakeholder Interviews – Interview a group of 20-30 individuals representing elected officials, government agencies, adjacent land owners, business owners, and other community stakeholders.  Prepare report and present at Trail Concept Review Committee Meeting #1 and Public Workshop #1a-c. EOU June 4 – September 5 2014
Land Use Analysis – Evaluate existing zoning and current uses within and adjacent to the corridor.  Research master planning documents for the rail corridor and within communities that intersect with the rail line. Prepare report and present at Trail Concept Review Committee Meeting #1 and Public Workshop #1a-c. UO September 29 – December 12 2014
Economic Impact Analysis – Complete economic base analysis and determine anticipated economic impacts of the rail with trail concept.  Prepare report and present at Trail Concept Review Committee Meeting #1 and Public Workshop #1a-c. EOU September 29 – December 12 2014
Rail Corridor Physical Assessment – Evaluate and prepare a summary report and map atlas of railroad improvements, vegetation and habitat resources, drainage, and topographic conditions within the corridor. OPRD April 21 – 8/22/2014
Historic and Cultural Properties Survey – Inventory and prepare a summary report for historic properties and cultural sites along rail corridor and in communities that intersect with the proposed trail. OPRD July 7 – September 19 2014
Community Assessments – Evaluate downtown areas of communities that intersect with the proposed trail using the Main Street four point approach to identify downtown revitalization opportunities, including those associated with the trail concept. Prepare report and present at Trail Concept Review Committee Meeting #1 and Public Workshop #1a-c. EOU September 29 – December 12 2014
Draft Existing Conditions Report – Prepare draft report to present findings from stakeholder interviews and assessment of the rail corridor. EOU September 29 – October 24 2014
