Billing for room and board will be made to your student account at the beginning of each term. Please note that billing for room and board is prorated in the following manner:
Fall Term – 40% of the annual total
Winter Term – 35% of the annual total
Spring Term – 25% of the annual total

A $250 housing deposit is required for ALL students living in EOU residence halls.
In addition to the room and board charge is a required fee for social, educational, and recreational programmingfor the residential community. This fee is $10 per term. This programming effort is administered by ResidenceLife staff with significant input from the residential community. This fee is non-refundable and is paid in full atthe beginning of each term.
If a student intends to cancel their housing application, they must do so prior to moving in by August 13, 2024, for Fall term applicants, December 13, 2024, for Winter applicants, and March 13, 2025, for Spring applicants. A student must notify the Residence Life Office in writing of their intention to cancel or a $250 late cancellation fee will be assessed to their student account. Students can cancel their application on their Self-Service page or by emailing the Residence Life Office at reslife@eou.edu, or by calling the office at (541) 962-3553.
If a student decides to cancel their housing contract after Move-In, they will be charged $8.00/day for each day remaining in the contract. See Room and Dining Contract 2023-2024 section D (page 2). Cancellation of Contract or section K. Charges/Fee (page 3) for further details.
Room and Board fees are set annually by the EOU Board of Trustees.
North Hall and Daugherty Hall are suite-style residences featuring both single, double, and triple bedrooms. Each suite is furnished and includes a bathroom, a living room, and a mini-kitchenette. A residential meal plan is required for all students living in these halls.

Alikut Hall features apartment-style housing for upperclassmen and transfer students. Each furnished apartment houses four residents in single rooms and includes two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. Alikut Hall residents may opt-out of a dining plan.
Volunteer dining plans are available, cost varies.
Eocene Apartments features apartment-style housing for upperclassmen and transfer students. Each furnished apartment houses two residents in single bedrooms in a two-bedroom apartment, 525 square feet. Eocene residents may opt-out of a dining plan.
Eocene apartments include fully furnished apartments, internet access, and utilities.
