The new student orientation fee is a one-time mandatory $125 fee assessed each fall term to all new freshman and transfer students. This fee supports the cost associated with the “Week of Welcome” program and it’s ongoing transition events.
A Non-Refundable $50.00 application fee is assessed to all admit student applications for admission.
A $85 building fee is assessed each term (academic year only) to all students registered for “On-Campus” courses. This fee is established by legislative statute and is intended to fund construction projects associated with student involvement.
As approved by ASEOU, students will pay $28.00 per term to help defray the costs incurred for the renovation of the Hoke Student Union.
The incidental fee is assessed at $376 each term (academic year only) to all students taking “On-Campus” courses, and to all students living on campus or part of an athletic team. This fee supports institutional student programs that are beyond the academic mission of the institution. Funds generated by incidental fees are used to fund student union operations, educational, cultural, and student governmental activities, and athletics. Incidental Fees are governed by a committee, comprised of student body officers, students, faculty, staff, and advisors.
The Health Service Fee is a mandatory $239 per-term (academic year only) fee for students taking at least “1” credit on campus, that provides student access to the Student Health and Counseling Centers. All international students enrolled at Eastern Oregon University are required to purchase the International Student Health Insurance. In certain circumstances, International Student Health Insurance may be waived upon proof of a comparable student health insurance plan. A matriculation fee of $350 is a one-time fee charged to all incoming students who are designated as on campus students.
New students who are designated as online students will be charged a one time fee of $250. The fee supports enrollment related expenditures for course scheduling, transcripts and academic programming for freshman interest groups.
Tuition is established to support the administrative and instructional costs at Eastern Oregon University. There are three basic tuition and fee structures at EOU: the regular academic year, summer session, and online/onsite course instruction. EOU also assesses a Differential Tuition for it’s Business and Economics courses.
The late drop fee is assessed for each course a student drops after the first week of the term.
