Saturday, March 23Depart Almo, ID by 9:00 a.m.
USU Prehistoric Museum, Price, UT
Sego Canyon Rock Art Interpretive Site, Thompson Springs, UT (if time)
Set up camp outside Moab, UT (pit toilets on site; no running water or wifi; cell service limited)
Sunday, March 24Choice of hiking, rock climbing, and/or other activities near Moab, UT
Group dinner and discussion at campsite
Monday, March 25Group hiking and/or sightseeing in and around Arches National Park
Dinner and discussion at campsite with community organizer Sam Van Wetter from Utah Rural Project
Tuesday, March 26Drive to Bluff, UT, by way of Canyonlands National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Canyon of the Ancients, and/or Hovenweep National Monument
Stay at Recapture Lodge (coin-op laundromat on site)
Wednesday, March 27Hiking and/or sight seeing in Bears Ears National Monument
Evening presentation and discussion with Sylvia Taylor at the Bears Ears Partnership Education Center
Thursday, March 28Half-day Hopi Cultural Tour with Marilyn Fredericks and Paaqavi, Inc.
Stay at Moenkopi Lodge in Tuba City
Friday, March 29Drive from Tuba City to Goblin Valley State Park by way of Monument Valley and/or Goosenecks State Park
Set up camp in Goblin Valley (running water and showers on site but limited cell service)
Group dinner and discussion
Saturday, March 30Pack up camp and drive to Twin Falls, ID or closer to La Grande, weather depending
Sunday, March 31Return to La Grande by noon today
