The Nightingale Gallery of Eastern Oregon University will close out the 2024-25 exhibition season with the annual celebration of student artists. The annual All-Campus Juried Student Exhibition will run May 16 through June 13.

Since 1973 the Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) has provided opportunities for the EOU community to learn about and explore the incredible natural environment surrounding La Grande. The OAP oversees an equipment rental program that provides a wide range of outdoor recreation equipment for students, faculty/staff, and community members. The OAP also offers for-credit OUT courses, clinics, guided trips, climbing wall, and hosts an extensive outdoor adventure resource library.
For over a decade, Hatch worked as a mountain guide, backcountry ski guide, and helped manage Forest Service recreation programs for operations in both Idaho and Northeast Oregon. Hatch’s favorite outdoor medium and subject to teach is snow. Through the years he has taught avalanche courses to hundreds of recreationists, college students, and EMS personnel.
