Celebrate the 50th Anniversary Powwow at Eastern Oregon University! Hosted by the Native American Program and Speel-Ya Native American Student Council, this special event is free and open to the public. All are welcome to attend and enjoy a day of community, culture, and tradition.
The Nightingale Gallery of Eastern Oregon University will close out the 2024-25 exhibition season with the annual celebration of student artists. The annual All-Campus Juried Student Exhibition will run May 16 through June 13.

EOU’s undergraduate initial teacher preparation in elementary education spans two years, pairing coursework alongside practical classroom experiences every term and culminates with full-time student teaching. The program prepares candidates for an Oregon teaching license with two endorsements, Elementary – Multiple Subjects and ESOL, in a cohort setting, building a strong sense of community among students, faculty and staff.
Angela Vossenkuhl’s passion is preparing pre-service teachers to begin their careers as educators through coursework and field work supervision. Angela has spent the last 15 years promoting inclusion through Bike First! She also enjoys traveling (and guiding students through cultural experiences Germany), gardening and supporting her children in their adventures.
